2025 Lanark Ag Hall of Fame Inductees Highlight Excellence in Agriculture Across County

LANARK COUNTY, ON – The Lanark Agricultural Hall of Fame is proud to announce the induction of three outstanding individuals who have made lasting contributions to agriculture and rural life in Lanark County. The 2025 inductees will be formally recognized at the Hall of Fame Ceremony on October 9, 2025, at the new Bruton Hall in Beckwith.
The inductees are:
Lois James
J. R. Ernest Miller
Gordon Patterson
Covering a wide demographic of timeframes and areas of agriculture, these individuals have made a lasting impact not only within the boundaries of Lanark County, but the Province of Ontario and even beyond.
“These inductees represent the heart of Lanark’s agricultural heritage,” said Hall of Fame Committee Chair, Ashley Knapton. “Each has demonstrated extraordinary dedication, leadership, and innovation in their respective fields. Their legacy continues to shape our rural communities.”
