HALL OF FAME
OUR VISION
A Lanark County Agricultural Hall of Fame that acknowledges, records, and preserves the contributions made by leaders to the growth and development of agriculture and agri-food industry and to the development and sustainability of rural life in Lanark County and beyond.
Agriculture has been important to the land we call Lanark County for hundreds of years. And the people who live and support agriculture have made significant contributions to their families, their communities, and their industry.
The men and women and organizations named to the Hall of Fame exemplify agricultural leadership and accomplishment.
Each year, following the Lanark Federation of Agriculture Annual General Meeting, nominations are invited from the agricultural community and its associated organizations. These nominations are considered by a selection committee and awardees are decided before the next year’s Annual General Meeting.
